The Mexican studio moves within the existing margins between emptiness and fullness,“two opposites that strategically complement each other in a constant abstraction visible in architecture, design and other forms of art”, as they said when we first met.
It was in 2020, through their furniture collections Tultepec and the Brutal, when Openhouse pass the gateway into the universe of Habitación 116.
With more than 20 years of experience in architecture, design and interiors, Habitación 116 office and showroom in San Miguel Chapultepec is the headquarters of a well matched team.
The project also owns two stores to recreate their passionate vision by joining their own designs with pieces of renowned authors of all times to which, from now on, Openhouse Magazine is honored to be part.
The magazine can be found in both spaces in Mexico City and San Miguel de Allende, giving birth a new collaboration that emphasizes the respect and admiration we have for Habitación 116 since we learnt about their work.
