The Openhouse team was delighted to relax, and connect with interesting artists and creators, while having a drink and watching a FC Barcelona football match from the new Soho Club House at Spotify Camp Nou.
Taking inspiration from the very first Soho House, Greek Street, the Club House was designed by Yasmin Angileri, House Design Interior Manager, with furniture and lighting pieces from Houses around the world such as London, New York, Los Angeles and Hong Kong.
The overall effect is a place with a full sense of identity, but also designed to stay true to the features of the stadium. The scheme combines the raw elements of the building, such as the microcement floor, with beautiful carpentry used for the bespoke back bar.
The space also reflects the mid-century design from Soho House Barcelona: a neutral colour palette dotted with pops of colour in the decor details. The clean lines and natural fabrics in the furnishings – hand-picked from across a range of Soho Houses and from Soho Home – pay homage to the climate in Barcelona.
The Club House’s art collection has been specially commissioned to include a collection of seven pieces by upcoming local Barcelona artists and illustrators, including Victor Ruiz Colomer, Juaki Pesudo and Lluís Terradellas aka Terra, all of whom have a relationship to music that comes across in their work.
A truly immersive place of connection between catalan culture and the global community of the Soho House.
