Mango Home, the home line of the well known retailer, is inaugurating a new chapter, marked by two key announcements: the official opening of its first store in the world, situated in Barcelona, as well as four new openings during the year in Madrid, Zaragoza, Bilbao and a second one in Barcelona. Not only that, but the first stand-alone store in the world is joined by a new and expanded collection, aimed to celebrate the different rooms of the home.

Located in Avenida Diagonal 586, one of the most iconic avenues of the city, the store creates a quest to the essence of the home, proposing a tour through every room. The bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room, dining room and patio appear dressed up in colorful and timeless designs, where quality and style are put at the center.

Mango Home’s first flagship store becomes a unique and versatile space that showcases the most special pieces resulting from the latest collaborations and emulates a Mediterranean-inspired courtyard inside. Born in 2021, Mango Home now presents a collection with a universal, modernized and versatile spirit, where the rooms of the home are reinterpreted through pieces that combine colorful aesthetics with the sobriety of timelessness.

The brand enters a new era, driven to create one-of-a-kind spaces for every personality and every individual. Mango Home is set to craft iconic pieces where the warmth of home is shared in every detail, and where contemporary style and quality become crucial pillars that elevate our experience. Organic, vibrant and welcoming lines embody the brand’s imaginary to provide unique homes for unique people.

In this new stage, Mango Home also explores the senses: the brand has imprinted its identity on seven scents that take the form of a scented candle, hand soap and home fragrance. Therefore, the first flagship store unveils a harmonious interplay of scents, textures and volumes that form the new collection, featuring hand-painted ceramics, fine porcelain and blown glass.

This new chapter represents a huge milestone in Mango Home’s history. Because of this, the brand decided to celebrate it last Thursday with a gathering at the former thermal power plant in Sant Adrià de Besòs. Hosted at the iconic Catalan location, the dinner brought together relevant figures in the design and architecture scene in Barcelona. From the Mango Girls and Mango Men, such as Blanca Miró, Clara Kong, Miguel Carrizo and Joan Palá, and names like Benjamín Iborra (co-founder of Mesura), Carmen Riestra and Albert Monjo (owners of Vasto Gallery), Jaime Rubiano (artistic director of Bofill Arquitectura), and Lázaro-Rosa Violán (interior designer), among others.

Thus, Mango Home not only celebrates its new beginning, but also celebrates the experience of home in all its splendor. “Our home is the place where we build memories.
