Design of the space "Room for Life" for Ikea Festival during Salone del Mobile. Milan, 2017

For Salone del Mobile 2017, IKEA asked Openhouse to take part of their Festival “Make Room for Life” by designing our idea of a living space in a 150sqm pavilion.
The space was inspired by La Ricarda, a family home of Barcelona, giving an air of the 50’s decade and showing the new designs of Ikea in a clean and sophisticated way. We reflected our own home by curating an exhibition of photography and holding concerts each day. More than 10,000 people passed through our pavilion and enjoyed our “Room for Life”.
