Founded in 1985, Santa & Cole promotes a material culture based on timelessness and design quality. From its headquarters in Parc de Belloch, on the outskirts of Barcelona, it carries out a singular editorial endeavor in the sector. While many associate it with the sale of lighting fixtures, its true essence lies in the production of design objects, art, and books.
More than just a business, Santa & Cole has shaped a unique way of engaging with the market—one that values, disseminates, and honors its represented artists and authors while preserving the rights to their work. In following this path, it forges a meaningful connection between them and its community of professionals. Over time, its showrooms have evolved into true galleries, now present in Barcelona (Enric Granados 68), Parc de Belloch (La Roca del Vallès), New York (907 Broadway), and Mexico City (Campos Elíseos 158, Polanco)

Inaugurated in 2023 in partnership with Díez Company, a leading lighting and design firm in Mexico, the Santa & Cole Gallery in Mexico City marks another step in its mission to build cultural bridges between cities through artistic exchange. It is a place dedicated to the careful selection and dissemination of design, art, and books. Here, a carefully applied curatorial approach interprets and contextualizes each work within its environment. It is also a meeting place for creators, architects, interior designers, and the public. Its purpose is clear: to strengthen its role as a platform for cultural and aesthetic connection.

Works such as Memoria de Lápiz, the first monographic exhibition of artist Enrique Barro (Barcelona, 1986), are part of this commitment to artistic dissemination. This exhibition, presented during the recent edition of Mexico Art Week (February 2025), celebrates simplicity as a fundamental principle. In it, the visual universe of the Barcelona-born artist unfolds through colored pencils that challenge pictorial academicism. Through the Pencil Trails series, the artist traces sinuous, endless paths, inviting exploration of the infinite possibilities of imagination.

Beyond its iconic design pieces, Santa & Cole expands into the artistic realm with its Neoseries. Born from the desire to apply the meticulous methodology of book publishing to design and art, this collection brings together works by contemporary artists and great masters, alongside sketches and drawings by key figures in Spanish design and architecture.
Unlike traditional graphic artwork—typically produced in limited and numbered editions, Neoseries pieces originate from an original work and are reproduced with the utmost fidelity in size, color, and texture. This process ensures that each piece retains the same emotional and aesthetic presence as the original, making daily engagement with art both accessible and authentic.

Additionally, Santa & Cole offers advisory services for interior design projects, leveraging its deep expertise in selection and curation. With a refined approach, it integrates design and artistic expression into each proposal, reinforcing its commitment to enhancing spaces through thoughtful design and art.

To edit is to select and disseminate, an exercise in respecting authorship and exalting the virtues of a work. Santa & Cole conceives its products as lifelong companions, designed with a vocation for timelessness. Each piece is created to endure, both in its form and in its technical solution, as well as in the careful choice of materials. Its purpose is not to generate aesthetic noise or unnecessary waste but to contribute an intrinsic value that enriches everyday experience. Rather than mass production, the firm carefully selects each piece, guided by a sensitive perspective that grants deep meaning to the objects that surround us.
