Design often brings to mind a physical object, something tangible, defined by both its practicality and beauty. But design is much more than that; it spans across fields like architecture and interior design, blending seamlessly with them in a way that feels harmonious.

This expansive vision lies at the core of Vipp’s guest house project. We caught up with Sofie Christensen Egelund, granddaughter of the founder and the third generation of the company, to discuss their latest venture: a new house in Todos Santos, Mexico.

The culture of Todos Santos that Pablo refers to is actually an amalgamation of traditions and a long-standing refuge for artists and creatives in the Baja California Peninsula. “We wanted to respect these traditions while creating our own architectural language and a building that merges seamlessly with the surrounding landscape,” he explains, while also speaking about the synergy with the Danish brand: “Vipp has been a perfect partner in this project, where you can see an ongoing dialogue between Mexican and Danish design sensibilities throughout its spaces.”
